Rhymes & Reasons Childcare knows that the average child's brain doubles in size in the first year. It grows to about 80% of an adult's brain by age three and 90% by age five. A positive and nurturing early childhood education ensures your child's complete cognitive development.

With the help of Funshine Express, we will incorporate traditional childcare learning with our holistic environment to ensure your child receives the best care available. We provide a seamless transition from your home to Rhymes & Reasons Childcare.

Infant Program

(6 Weeks - 18 Months)

A warm, nurturing beginning
Our Infant Program provides a calm, loving environment where babies feel safe, secure, and cared for throughout their day.
Teachers focus on building strong, responsive relationships while supporting each child's natural development through:

  • language exposure and early communication

Toddler Program

(18 Months - 2 Years)

Growing independence through exploration
Our Toddler Program supports children as they begin to explore their world with curiosity and confidence.
In a structured yet playful environment, toddlers develop:

  • early language and communication skills
  • social interaction and cooperative play
  • independence and self-help skills
  • fine and gross motor development
Through guided routines and hands-on experiences, children begin learning how to participate in a classroom setting while still feeling supported and encouraged.

Twos Program

(2 Years)

Building confidence, routine, and early learning skills
Our Twos Program bridges the gap between toddlerhood and preschool by introducing more structure while maintaining a nurturing and engaging environment.
Children begin to develop:

  • early classroom routines and transitions
  • language development and expression
  • beginning pre-literacy and pre-math concepts
  • social skills such as sharing and turn-taking
  • independence in daily activities
This classroom lays the foundation for our Pre-K Prep Age 3 program, helping children gain the confidence and readiness needed for their next stage of learning.

Preschool Program

(Age 3)

Our Pre-K Prep Age 3 classroom gently introduces children to structured learning in a warm, nurturing environment.
Children begin building foundational skills through hands-on learning and daily routines, including:

  • Early letter recognition
  • Handwriting skills
  • Counting and early math skills
  • Social confidence and cooperation
  • Following classroom routines

Kindergarten Readiness Program

(Age 4)

Our Kindergarten Readiness Age 4 classroom prepares children for a confident transition into kindergarten.

  • Strong handwriting skills
  • Number sense and early math
  • Listening and multi-step directions
